Living in China

Goodbye ZhengZhou! #7

IMG_6219 Goodbye ZhengZhou!

In this episode Denise shares her tale on why ZhengZhou is not a good fit for her professionally and how it’s time for us to get out town!

We talk at great length about the elementary school, Chinese culture and how different it is from the West.  We share some observations about our outings, some of the sights and the new subway.

Lastly we dwell a bit about what’s next and the things we’re going to do before we the Chinese government tracks us down (actually we have plenty of time on our visa).

Living here has been quite the adventure. And the journey of a thousand steps keeps on going.

Great story. Sounds like you had a lot of good adventures. Really gave a good explanation of why it doesn’t work out for you. Sorry it didn’t work! So keep us posted of your next steps. Do they have to get a replacement for Denise now that she is leaving? Just wondering.

No, they really didn’t think it out when they brought her to China. They are very confused quite honestly.
